Family – Kingdom Resources

Kingdom Career

Colossians 3:23 says: “Work as working for the Lord not for man.” Our work ethic helps us witness to those with authority over us as well as our peers and those whom we serve.  Every day is an opportunity to demonstrate our stewardship of the gifts, talents, and resources God gives us.

Kingdom Ministry

Good stewardship can lead to the development of a Kingdom ministry. Wealth creation can and should be used to carry out the plans of the Lord. After all, it all belongs to Him. Wealth is not to be used for personal glorification but for glorifying the Lord. You must look into leveraging the resources God blesses you and your ministry with to be used for the spread of the gospel.

Kingdom Business

When God entrusts us with the management and even the ownership of a business, we must use it to glorify Him with the financial resources it generates as well as the opportunities to touch the lives of the employees, the community, the suppliers, the management and customers. Everything belongs to Him.

God’s Giftings

The best method of teaching operates with an understanding that we are fearfully and wonderfully made by God. Therefore great education must identify God’s design in the life of a student. This includes various gifts, values, personality types and behavior patterns of students.  The gifts of course are broad based to include athletic ability, intelligence, spiritual gifts, capacity to assimilate and use information, critical thinking skills, and many other talents that make us unique in this world.

Spiritual Family Leadership

Parents are called to grow their children in the way of the Lord. This role is, according to scripture, primarily given as the Father’s responsibility. Parents must never abdicate the role of teaching and discipling their kids to a school or even a church. The primary responsibility for children to grow in the knowledge and admonition of the Lord sits at the feet of the parents. Leverage your time and intentionally impact your children with the Gospel in your home.
